長笛大師 威廉.班乃特(William Bennett,簡稱 WIBB 多年來致力於改善長笛的音準,發展不同的長笛演奏音色,以及試圖讓長笛能在音色、音樂處理以及演奏上能像是弦樂器或是聲樂般的具有說服力。 威廉.班乃特 為國際知名的演奏家,灌錄的錄音作品受到廣大的迴響及好評,並在國際間享有極高的聲望。除了之前任教的德國 Musik Hochshule Freiburg、現在任教的英國皇家音樂院(Royal Academy of Music)、以及不斷獲邀在世界各地舉辦的大師講座,使他成為當代第一流的長笛教授之一。班乃特受教於長笛大師 Marcel Moyse 以及 Geoffrey Gilbert,他不只承席了大師富有想像力的精髓,除此之外更融入了個人極具說服力的見解,加上他令人懾服的演奏技巧及完美優雅的音樂詮釋,更引領他進入了一代長笛大師的殿堂。 為了肯定他對音樂界的貢獻,英國女王於 1995 年授與了他「大英帝國榮譽勳章」(Most Excellent Order of the British Empire);爾後在 2002 年美國長笛協會(National Flute Association, USA)頒與了他「終身成就獎」(Lifetime Achievement Award);2003 年他獲聘為英國長笛協會(British Flute Society, UK)之「桂冠長笛演奏家」(Flautist Laureate);2004 年義大利長笛協會(Falaut)頒與他「黃金長笛演奏家」(Gold of Flute); 以及 2009 年美國芝加哥長笛協會(Chicago Flute Club, USA)頒與他的「 終身成就獎 」(Lifetime Achievement Award)。

丹尼斯 布列科夫(Denis Bouriakov)現為美國大都會歌劇院長笛首席,他曾贏得國際間最重要的長笛比賽,包含:日本神戶長笛大賽 ( 2001 )、卡爾 尼爾森長笛大賽 ( 2002 )、慕尼黑長笛大賽 ( 2004 )、朗帕爾長笛大賽 ( 2005 )、尼可萊長笛大賽 ( 2006 )以及拉里歐長笛大賽 ( 2007 )。 自丹尼斯十一歲起,便時常獲邀於俄國最重要的音樂廳中演出,像是音樂學院大音樂廳,柴可夫斯基音樂廳等。2000年他離開俄國,進入英國倫敦皇家音樂院就讀,並向長笛大師威廉 班乃特學習。2004年他畢業後榮獲英國皇家音樂院之獎學金成為音樂院助教。2005年丹尼斯為自己得到了第一份樂團的工作,於芬蘭坦佩利愛樂擔任長笛首席;2008年進入西班牙巴塞隆納交響樂團擔任長笛首席,同年,他更獲得了音樂界的矚目,風光得到了大都會歌劇院長笛首席一職。 丹尼斯 布列科夫是一位最值得期待與最耀眼的年輕長笛家,他的知名度遍及世界各地,涵括東方與西方。 |

Vytenis Gurstiswas born in Vilnius, Lithuania. He studied with Valentinas Gelgotas. In 2007 Vytenis auditioned for the Royal Academy of Music in London and was awarded a full scholarship to study for his Bachelor's degree with William Bennett. 2012 - 1st prize - the British Flute Society International Flute Competition In 2004 - 2009 Vytenis Gurstis has been receiving a scholarship from Mstislav Rostropovich's fund. M. Rostropovich chose Vytenis himself and recommended him for the scholarship.During the summers of 2004 and 2005, Vytenis took part in the Christian Performing Artists' "MasterWorks Festival" in USA - Winona Lake, IN (2005); England - London (2004) and Winchester (2005) where he had won the concerto competition and played the W.A. Mozart's Concerto for flute and orchestra in G-Major as a soloist. |

Zoia Vyazovskaya Born in Moscow 1990, Zoia began her musical education on four instruments including piano, harp, flute and violin at various music schools in Moscow.
She studied at the Academic Music College of Moscow( Tchaikovsky Conservatoire) from 2004
until 2008 as a musical history and theory specialist, with flute as a second study. She then entered the Moscow Conservatoire (2008) and after one year, the Royal Academy of Music to study flute. |

Sunmiri Seo was born in Korea, Miri studied her music at Yewon school and Seoul Arts high School with professor Myungja Moon and Shinjung Oh) and Ewha Womans University and postgraduate school with professor Ki-soon Kim and Chongsun Pae. She won various prize included 1st prize of Ewha Kyunghyang Concours. In 2010, she was awarded Harold Wrigley Alcock Award in Royal Academy of Music and studying the postgraduate MA degree with William Bennett. In the academy, she performed many concert (included the celebration for Academy 190 years founding on the Marylebone) as a principal flute in the Academy Concert Orchestra with conductor Trevor Pinnock and recently she did recording with Academy Chamber Ensemble (Conductor: Trevor Pinnock) at St.George's in Bristol –C.Debussy Prelude to the After of a Faun and Mahler Symphony No.4.

Nriko Sato Studied at the Tokyo College of Music High School and the Tokyo College of Music, department of piano performance course, and also finished the master course in 2002. Studied with Emiko Harimoto and Hitoko Kurasawa, getting a scholorship there. Attended the master class of Andrzej Jasinski in the International Summer Academy at Mozarteum. Studied with Clifford Benson at the Royal Academy of Music in 2000. Took part in the master classes held by Leonard Hokanson, Regina Smendzianka, Bernd Goetzke. |

Joel Tse is the Principal flutist of The Toledo Symphony. He has performed as guest Principal Flute with the English Chamber Orchestra, and held positions in the Erie Philharmonic, and the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan. Joel has made chamber music appearances throughout Europe, Russia, South America, Greece, Turkey and Israel. His family came to the United States from Hong Kong when he was a child. Joel received a Bachelor's degree from the Eastman School of Music, a Master's degree from Northwestern University, and a Performance Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in London. His teachers include Bonita Boyd, Walfrid Kujula, Jeffrey Khaner and William Bennett and his recordings include the New World Symphony, American-Soviet Youth Orchestra, and the Eastman Philharmonia and Wind Ensemble. Joel plays on a French flute made by Louis Lot, #2770, circa 1880. This past summer, Joel performed with the Pacific Music Festival's 10th year anniversary orchestra at the invitation of Michael Tilson Thomas, conductor. Recently, he received a grant from the Mellon Foundation to present local recitals that demonstrate the influence of the French flute on the modern instrument. |

Michie Bennett born in Japan, is the Manager, Director and assistant of the Summer School for 26 years. As a child, learnt the piano, and flute from 14 with Liliko Hayashi and Masaharu Ishibashi, and then studied at the Tokyo University of Arts with Masao Yoshida and Masaru Kawasaki. She also studied with Andre Jaunet in Switzerland through whom she met Marcel Moyse and had lessons with him in Boswil and Brattleboro whilst attending Marlborough Music Festival.
